The Bootstrap Greenhouse Book
Step by step instructions, diagrams and photos for the three styles of greenhouses I built and use at New Terra Farm. It still feels like magic to me when I step into my greenhouse-on-rails in February, with a couple feet of snow on the ground outside. The temperature inside is in the 60’s (18C or so). The ground is thawed and ready for tillage. I can work with my jacket off, enjoying the warmth of the sun. It’s like instant winter vacation a couple climate zones to the south.
This is an experience you can create for you easier and cheaper than you might think. This book explains a couple ways to do it.
